HAVING A BALL: Braehead’s free summer events return

Braehead Shopping Centre, Scotland’s leading retail and leisure destination, is turning up the heat with the return of its hugely popular giant ball pit for two weeks of FREE family entertainment.

Spanning a massive 64 square metres and filled with over 100,000 colourful balls, the ball pit will take over the Central Atrium daily from 5th July to 20th July, following last year’s overwhelming success.

Building on the success of 2024, there will be two different ball zones. One dedicated to your little ones 4 and under and another for ages 5+

There’s no need to book, just come along join the queue and get involved. Each session will last approximately 10 minutes. T&Cs apply*

Ball pool opening hours: Saturday 9.30am – 6pm; Sunday 10am – 6pm; Monday – Friday 11am – 5pm

SEN Session: Tuesday 8 July 11am – 11.30am & Tuesday 15 July 11am – 11.30am

Summer Party

5 & 6 July | 19 & 20 July

To kick off the summer celebrations, Braehead will be hosting an unmissable summer party on the opening weekend of Saturday 5th – Sunday 6th July with live DJ sets, roaming stilt walkers, giveaways and more, in what promises to be an unforgettable experience for everyone of all ages.

Colour trail

5 – 20 July

Win a £50 voucher to a store of your choice at Braehead Shopping Centre by taking part in our rainbow colour trail. Terms and Conditions
  1. Use of equipment is at your own risk.
  2. Follow all staff instructions. Failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave.
  3. No loose items allowed in the ball pool.
  4. No rough playing or yelling permitted.
  5. Socks must be worn at all times. No bare feet or footwear.
  6. No food or drink.
  7. No gymnastics in the ball pool.
  8. Over 5 Zone:
    1. Minimum Age 5 Years. Participants Aged 5-11 Must Be Accompanied By An Adult
  9. Under 5 Zone:
    1. All Children Need To Be Aged Under 5, Unless Within A Party That Contains An Under 5
    2. All Children Need To Be Accompanied Into The Ball Pit By An Adult
  10. No entry if under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs.
  11. Do not participate if you have any pre-existing conditions (neck / back problems, heart issues, pregnancy or if you are feeling unwell).
  • Minimum height of 4ft / 1.2m, unless accompanied by an adult
  • Participants will not be permitted entry to the ball pool if they are under the influence of alcohol or any non-prescription drugs
  • Anyone with pre-existing conditions such as back, neck problems, heart complaints and those who are pregnant or feeling unwell are not to participate
