Blue Monday (Monday 18 January) is notoriously the most unhappy day of the year. And in 2021, it’s set to be even tougher than usual.
This year we will be supporting The Samaritans Brew Monday, as now more than ever it’s important that we stay connected, even if we have to keep a physical distance.
The Samaritans aim to turn Blue Monday on its head…virtually. They are encouraging people to reach out to a friend, family member or a colleague and arrange a virtual catch up and cup tea. Or you can have coffee if you prefer!
There are plenty of ways you can get involved, get more Brew Monday inspiration by visiting the Samaritan website here
At Braehead we will be inviting all our team members to a virtual catch up via Zoom. With teams working in centre, working from home and on furlough, its been a while since we have seen some of our fave people!
Don’t forget that during these challenging times it’s ok to not be ok. If you or someone close to you is struggling, visit the Samaritans website or give one of their helpful team a call on 116 123. It’s free to call and lines are open 24 hours a day.
