Get ready to glide into the festive season as The Big Christmas Skate returns to Braehead Ice Centre this November and December!
With over 100 sessions to choose from, enjoy themed skates like Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, Christmas Jumper Skate, Grinchmas On Ice, Merry Wee Ones, and Skate with Santa – plus a special Christmas Eve Skate to round off the celebrations.
Each session lasts 90 minutes in our purpose-built ice arena. Tickets are £12 for adults (including skate hire), and kids under five skate free with a paying adult.

Fresh new pyjamas are a Christmas essential, and Renfrewshire’s Provost Lorraine Cameron is looking for your help to make sure every child feels cosy and warm this Christmas.
For the fifth year in a row, Provost Cameron is encouraging residents to donate a pair of new pyjamas, cosy socks or slippers in aid of the Provost’s Pyjama Appeal.
All ages and sizes are welcome from birth to teenagers.
