Job Vacancy: Retail Sales Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Heart Scent, Braehead Shopping Centre, Glasgow

Heart Scent is a busy retail kiosk in the heart of Braehead Shopping Centre, specialising in personalised frames that make the perfect gifts for every occasion. We pride ourselves on offering customers a warm, friendly shopping experience and creating unique keepsakes they’ll treasure.
The Role
We’re looking for a part-time Sales Assistant to join our team. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll be helping shoppers choose and personalise their frames, handling sales transactions, and ensuring the kiosk always looks inviting.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in a friendly, approachable manner
- Provide advice on product choices and personalisation options
- Operate our computer system to process personalised frame orders (training provided)
- Handle cash and card payments accurately
- Maintain kiosk presentation and stock levels
- Deliver excellent customer service to ensure repeat business
What We’re Looking For
- Retail or sales experience preferred, but not essential
- Basic computer skills (comfortable using simple software to personalise frames)
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
- A proactive approach to meeting sales targets and supporting team goals
