There’s much more to Braehead than shopping bags and tills. Come for the day, stay to play. Bring the buzz.

Right next to the centre, Braehead Arena brings live events, sport and entertainment to the wider Braehead offer.
It’s home to the Glasgow Clan ice hockey team and a regular venue for concerts, exhibitions, and family shows throughout the year. The arena has a capacity for over 4,000 people, with easy access from the mall and plenty of parking nearby.
Whether you’re heading to a match night, a live gig or a one-off event, it’s a popular spot for big moments, all just a short walk from the shops.

Braehead has been the hub of ice skating and ice sports within Greater Glasgow for years – and we’re not about to give up our crown any time soon.
With many clubs situated in the Glasgow, Renfrew and Paisley areas, we host skaters from all around the local region. From recreational skaters to competition figure skaters, we have the ideal facilities to train.
But we’re not just for clubs. The Ice Centre is also a popular place for kids and adults who simply want to get their skates on and meet up with mates for a good time – so give us a try.
With tens of thousands of people visiting our Ice Cente every month, we’ve become experts at offering the very best experiences.
We’re incredibly proud that the Glasgow Clan Ice Hockey Club call Braehead Arena their home. Since 2010, they’ve continued to pack in thousands of fans, and the energy’s always electric.
The Clan play in the Elite Ice Hockey League and have enjoyed many successful seasons – including second place in 2015 and qualification for the Champions Hockey League in 2016.
The fierce local side has also attracted some top-level players over the years, such as former NHL stars Matt Keith, Jordan Krestanovich, Ric Jackman and Drew Miller.
Hard-hitting action, entertainment and a Highland Cow mascot are just part of the unique game night experience.
Put it all together and you get a night that’s loud, lively and unlike anything else round here.
